This is a song written by Ben Attias entitled Pistachio. This was filmed in the Vinyl Records recording studio in UNC. The high quality recording of this song along with many others that we made that weekend were lost when protools decided to quit unexpectedly but we have the raw recording of this one from our video camera. Enjoy the music friends!
lyrics
I found you my pistachio
Buried under my mustachio.
Carried from that undergrowth,
Married to that cantaloupe.
I found you my silly string
Come feel my chilly sting.
I'm back where the tides don't weep
Far from your backwards leap.
I found you my crowded room
I won't find the exit soon.
And I listen to your poem sing
They taste much like silly string.
I found you my tied up heart
You were very much ripped apart.
Now I'm halfway to Mexico,
and I think I lost my pistachio.
I think I lost my pistachio.....
